I am a mother to many, and daughter of the One True King.

My Husband and I have been in Ministry for 25+ years, from Youth Ministry to Foster Care, to supporting foster parents, and training parents in connected parenting techniques. We provided a safe place for children as foster parents for 13 years. We have parented 30+ children in the foster care system, 2 of them we were blessed to adopt. We also have unofficially taken the role of support adult to many teens and young adults throughout the years. 

On our journey in ministry as a Pastoral staff family we realized that the wounds the church can leave people with are harsh. 

Childhood trauma simply cannot be ignored and "loved" out of someone. The body keeps the score and remembers at a cellular level. Once we realized this we furthered training in Connected Parenting techniques and sought to teach these principals to foster parents. The concept of connecting before correcting and others similar was our 'go to'. coaching parents in connected parenting was greatly rewarding watching bonds between children and parents grow. 

There were times that techniques didn't work, and we sought to dig deeper into the why and find answers of how we could help our own children on an even deeper level. 

This is when I found Dr. Robin Braun. Dr Robin is the founder of IBRT Integrated Bioenergetic Restoration Therapy, a Therapy that integrates many modalities to identify the root cause of an issue and address it. One of the main goals of IBRT is to help clients grow in emotional maturity, to identify the thoughts beliefs and emotions that effect actions and create patterns in our daily lives. IBRT has helped identify generational causes as well as spiritual relational and physical causes to many things in my own life and the lives of my children. I am super excited to be able to now use IBRT as a practitioner to help others in this way.
